Kids are some of our favorite patients! It is extremely important to start the little ones out on the right foot when it comes to dentistry. I can’t tell you how many fearful adults I have treated over the years that can almost always trace their fear back to bad dental experiences as a child. A bad experience can follow you for life, which often results in procrastination, which can lead to more serious treatment needs. We bend over backwards to try to make the kid’s dental experience a positive one. If you can start them out at about age 3 and remain consistent after that, it will help us teach the kids that a trip to the dentist is no big deal!
