Hello! My name is Dr. Sam Chong. Unlike many of my friends in tech who moved here from out-of-state, I’m a Washington State local! After graduating from Mercer Island High School, I braved frigid Midwest winters to complete a B.S. in Chemistry with a Biochemistry Concentration at Wheaton College in Illinois. I returned to my home state to obtain my DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. My mission is to form relationships with my patients that are built on trust and open communication, while providing exceptional and affordable dental care. I am especially passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health goals–giving them beautiful smiles to amplify their confidence.
I am always looking to further my skills and offer the best services to my patients. To that end, I have completed advanced training in dental implants, Botox, microneedling, dermal/lip filler, and moderate oral sedation.
For several years, I worked as a part-time Affiliate Faculty at my alma mater. I cherished the opportunity to give back to my profession, and I enjoyed guiding dental students on their journey to becoming outstanding dentists. I hope to one day return to a teaching role in some capacity.
When I’m not caring for patients or researching the latest dental technologies and techniques, I like playing pickleball, volleyball, and badminton. I play the piano, guitar, and ukulele, and I speak conversational Spanish.
